We love this beginning part of the process because it lays the foundation for our relationship and we get to start learning about you and anyone you may share the home with. We dive deep into your lifestyle and how you’ll want your home to work for you. Budget and preliminary design concept will be mapped out. We’ll spend as much time as needed to make sure we adequately answer your questions during this stage. We believe fostering a relationshp built on trust, transperancy, and communication is critical to a successful build, and that starts on day one.

At this stage we start to really dig into your home plans, and ensure every detail is adjusted and modified to meet the unique needs of your family. We’ll start looking deeper into your inspiration for the home - collecting all those pictures you’ve been saving and we’ll help craft it all into a design concept that will guide the entire build. Budget and allowances will be modified and adjusted as we continue to learn more about your needs, as we firmly believe a detailed budget serves as an essential tool to guide us. Once all parties feel confident in our plans, we’ll move forward to contract signing.

Building off of the conversations and design concepts we’ve crafted during the plans stage, we’ll take that roadmap and begin selecting all the actual materials, finishes, fixtures, and custom details that will go into your home. We strongly believe in doing as much of this as we can before we even break ground. Not only do we like to capitalize on the momentum we’ve created from previous stages, but this is the fun part! In our experience, the more we can select together up front, the smoother, more cost efficient, and more enjoyable the build itself becomes. We want to build you a beautiful home and a beautiful experience doing it.

Once financing is approved and the lot is prepped and surveyed, the build of the home will [generally] take around nine months. Our trusted sub-contractors begin working on the home, and we provide continuous and consistent updates for you through our Buildertrend software. You’ll continue to work closely with our designer during this phase to finalize all selections, make any last minute tweaks, address any issues that may arise, and watch the vision come to life.

We made it through the build! Time to walkthrough together so we can address any final items, hand over all important paperwork and materials, answer any and all questions, and discuss our warranty information. Once all finish work is complete and exceeds expectation, its time for occupancy! We’ll see you again in a year from now so we can address any warranty related issues that may have occurred during your first year in the home.

This right here. This part is our favorite. After we’ve handed over the keys, your exciting new chapter begins. Taking your beautiful house you just built and intentionally crafting it into your home. We will be cheering you on, and secretly hoping for updates as you make it your own.
